This learning module goes over the basic examination procedures and use of the slit-lamp biomicroscope. Normal structures are identified and examples of anomalies are given to illustrate the use of the instrument. Other modules cover contact lens aftercare problems, ocular diseases, and other related topics where the instrument is used.
